White Sauce:
Ingredients:
- Butter or oil – 1 tablespoon
- All-purpose flour – 1 tablespoon
- Sugar – 1 teaspoon
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Minced garlic + ground black pepper + salt – 1/4 teaspoon mixed
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a pan, then add flour and cook for a while.
- Add minced garlic, ground black pepper, salt, and sugar.
- Gradually add milk while stirring continuously until it thickens like cream.
- Once thickened, remove from heat. (Keep the heat low while cooking.)
Mayonnaise:
Ingredients:
- Egg (at room temperature) – 1
- Vegetable oil – about 1 cup (depending on the size of the egg)
- Ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar – 2 teaspoons
- Salt – 1/4 teaspoon
- Vinegar or lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Instructions:
- In a blender, blend all ingredients except oil together for 30 seconds.
- While blending, gradually add oil. Oil should not be added all at once. Stop blending 4-5 times and add oil.
- Within 2 minutes, mayonnaise will be ready.
Note: Mayonnaise can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Burger Sauce:
Ingredients:
- Egg – 1
- Sugar – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground mustard – 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil – 1 cup or a few tablespoons less
- Minced garlic – 1 teaspoon
- Vinegar – 1 tablespoon
- Ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
- Powdered milk – 1 tablespoon (optional)
- Tomato sauce – 4 tablespoons
Instructions:
- Blend all ingredients like mayonnaise, and then add tomato sauce to make burger/dip sauce.
