Easy Momo and Momo sauce recipe

Ingredients:

  1. A small amount of olive oil or vegetable oil
  2. 400 grams of flour
  3. One cup of chopped onions
  4. One tablespoon of minced garlic
  5. One tablespoon of minced ginger
  6. One tablespoon of green chili (chopped)
  7. 300 grams of chicken (cut into pieces)
  8. One tablespoon of chopped coriander leaves
  9. Some black pepper
  10. Warm water
  11. Salt to taste

Method

take a bowl and mix flour with a little oil and salt. Add a small amount of water and knead the mixture well. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

in a bowl, mix together boiled chicken pieces, onions, garlic, ginger, green chili, coriander leaves, black pepper, and salt to taste.

Shape the dough into small discs and make a small dent in the center.

Fill the dents with the chicken mixture and fold the edges to form dumplings.

heat some water in a steamer. Place the momos on a perforated plate and steam them slowly until cooked. This will give you delicious momos.

Momo Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. One or two large tomatoes
  2. Half a tablespoon of vegetable oil or olive oil
  3. A pinch of dry chili flakes
  4. Four to five cloves of crushed garlic
  5. One tablespoon of sugar
  6. One tablespoon of vinegar
  7. Half a tablespoon of soy sauce
  8. Salt to taste

Method:

First, blend the tomatoes to make a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a pan and add tomato paste, chili flakes, crushed garlic, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Cook well until the sauce thickens.

Garnish with some coriander leaves to make delicious momo sauce.
